I don't know about you, but I think it is about time that Bachelorette parties take a turn for the better. Be gone penis straws! And good riddance. It is time to class things up a little bit and make the night about what it really should be about....the bride-to-be enjoying some time with her best friends! For the latest Bachelorette we decided on a Sex and the City theme! How fun, right?! The bride loves the show and the movies and I think this will be right up her alley.
To start we are letting all the ladies know to wear their favorite SATC-inspired outfit or cute cocktail dress! In lieu of that hideous veil or sash so often displayed we are going to don the bride with a small hair clip inspired by Carrie's wedding attire. Of course there will be Cosmopolitans and lots of Champagne to get things started. As is my strict rule, there will be no games. I repeat NO GAMES! But, we are going to pass around name tags that say "I'm a Miranda", etc. for the guests to choose from.
The best part? Presents! It seems more and more that people already have all the boring chip and dip sets they could possibly want and honestly, isn't picking out lingerie for one of your friends just a little uncomfortable? This theme offers *the* best present solution....shoes and purses! Who doesn't want/need/obsess about more shoes and purses???
